This policy explains how the SpeakTime app and the website speaktimetoday.com handle your data. The short version: SpeakTime does not collect, store or share your personal data.

Who we are

SpeakTime is developed and published by an individual developer based in the Netherlands. You can reach us at support@speaktimetoday.com.

The SpeakTime app

SpeakTime works fully on your device. There is no account, no sign-in and no server that receives your data.

Microphone

The app asks for access to your microphone so that a voice activity detection (VAD) model, which runs locally on your device, can tell the difference between speech and background noise. Audio is processed in memory on your device only. It is not sent anywhere and it is not saved.

What we do not do

• We do not collect or store audio recordings.
• We do not collect personal data, contact details or location.
• We do not use advertising or advertising identifiers.
• We do not use analytics or crash reporting tools in the app.
• We do not share or sell any data to third parties.

Pro version

The Pro version is a one-time in-app purchase. The payment is handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play using their own tools. We do not receive or see your payment card details. The store may share basic purchase information with us, such as whether a purchase was completed, according to their own privacy policies.

The website

The website does not use cookies and does not show advertising. It is hosted by Cloudflare. Cloudflare may process technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver the site and keep it secure, and it provides basic, cookie-free traffic statistics. If you send us an email, we use your email address and message only to answer you, and we delete it when it is no longer needed.

Children

SpeakTime does not knowingly collect any personal data from anyone, including children.

Your rights

Because we do not collect personal data in the app, there is nothing to access, correct or delete there. For emails you sent us, you can ask us to access or delete them at any time, in line with the GDPR.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will publish the new version on this page and update the date above.
